What We Believe
Statement of Faith
1. The Bible is the inspired word of God.
2. There is one God eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit.
3. Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
4. Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead.
5. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God and repentance is commanded by God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sin.
6. Justification, regeneration, and rebirth are brought about by faith in the blood of Jesus
7. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift for all believers given for the benefit of all.
Articles of Faith
1. Faith is a relationship with God and is required by God. (Hebrews 11:6)
2. We overcome the world and our carnal nature through faith. (1 John 5:4)
3. We are not to be moved by what our carnal senses tell us but rather by the Word of God (2 Corinthians 5:7)
4. If faith can move mountains it can most certainly heal our mind, body and finances (Mark 11:23)
5. Doubt destroys faith. Faith destroys doubt. (James 1:6-7)
6. Faith requires that we believe we already have what we are praying for (Mark 11:24)
7. There is only one way to increase our faith (Romans 10:17)
